Project 2 - Picture, Interpretation & Narrative

Interpretations

- Sickly woman
  • dull colours, woman's skin does not look healthy
  • sitting in the room in the middle of the day
- Withdrawn/ Anti-social
  • apartment/room is high up in the city (above other apartments)
  • looking out and down in her protective bubble
  • alone, no one else can be seen in the image - inside or out
- Eccentric, observes outside world
  • looking out the window and down towards the streets and other apartments
  • sitting in her apartment in the middle of the day - indicated by sun
  • well-off, doesn't have anything she needs to do

Narrative

"A tower for a withdrawn, sickly woman who seeks comfort in observing other peoples lives from her secluded space"
